Digital Strategy – Develop and champion a guiding vision for digital marketing across the MENA Consumer group focusing on the Beauty, CHC and OTC brands. Help developing communication plans for a digital world, ensuring we have the fundamentals in place and providing test and learn opportunities for more innovative digital activity to drive sales and market share.
Social – Lead in rolling out the social approach for MENA ensuring effective community management, efficient social media spend, strong social strategies and reporting best practice
Content – Lead in developing the content approach for MENA to enable us to behave more like publishers. Providing tools, processes and partners to allow us to lead in this area.
Analytics – Lead in developing the digital analytics approach for MENA ensuring reporting best practice and meaningful insight is provided by the analytics team
Develop and optimize digital platforms to engage consumers and ultimately support product sales for the MENA region with a focus on the Beauty (i.e Neutrogena and Clean and Clear), CHC (i.e Carefree and Listerine) and OTC (i.e Imodium and Regaine) brands. Working in close partnership with the brand team, this individual will develop the optimum strategy and plan, taking into account econometric learnings, and combining them with their knowledge of the media landscape to deliver a plan that effectively and efficiently achieves brand objectives.
Develop, Leverage and Adapt digital strategies and assets from lead markets and the EMEA
Lead the Social Media approach for MENA ensuring clear strategy, best practice execution and tracking and optimization is in place
Management of the Content and Site (Community Management Agency) for the day to day management of our social platforms
Provide guidance and support on digital for some key brands in the North Africa markets
Help develop the Digital IQ across the MENA cluster
Monitor digital media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase the use of digital media at J&J.
Identification and development of innovations in the online sector in the context of "Test & Learn" projects for different target groups of the company
Negotiate and ensure top quality delivery from our digital agencies and secure standardization in the online space.
Build a strong working relationship with EMEA Digital Team (DCoE)
Ensure agency partners are reporting and optimizing activity in line with expectations
Secure continuous tracking and analysis of key metrics and provide recommendations to improve digital strategy and execution, including budget control.
Bachelor Degree in Marketing / Digital Marketing, or any related degree.
MBA from a reputable school would be preferred
5 - 7 years’ experience in Media and Digital Marketing
Experience from a multi-national or regional company in preferably FMCG Excellent Verbal and written English skills; Arabic is a plus
Experience with media agency and communications management is essential
Experience managing social, content and digital
Strong understanding of building and integrating digital with ATL and activations
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising communications campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
A strong record of working collaboratively and effectively with marketing agencies
Ability to work within a diverse (culturally, functionally & geographically) environment.
Be a self-starter and have the ability to take responsibility for key program/study 'milestones' with minimal supervision.
