This is YOU

  • You have experience creating annual merchandise plans including Traffic, Conversion, AOV, Transactions and Sales
  • Your can forecast sales based on trend, inventory availability and upcoming promotions
  • You have expererience using forecasting and planning tools and understand the logic driving the systems
  • You are a great communicator and love to teach and share your knowledge
  • You are comfortable with working with multiple stakeholders and have the ability to influence others to follow your recommendations
  • You can effectively manage a team of planners and inventory analysts to ensure accurate, timely and actionable information is delivered
  • You can work with the marketing team to forecast traffic and seasonal profiles at the category and item level
  • You can work with the finance team to ensure merchandise and financial budgets, actuals and forecasts are aligned
  • You have experience forecasting to the item level and setting appropriate inventory levels to maximize profitable sales and sellthrough
  • You are an Excel whiz and can create complex worksheets to consolidate data from many sources and slice and dice it into usable information
  • You love to analyze sales, promotions, cohorts performance , traffic, conversion etc and make recommendations to maximize sales and inventory efficiency
  • You continually implement improvement processes and systems to increase efficiency, accuracy and minimise costs
  • You are capable of writing and maintaining accurate procedures for all main planning, forecasting and replenishment processes and functions
  • You are diligent in managing control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved
  • You love to stay up to date with the latest planning tools and technology
  • You have 5-7 years experience in retail planning and forecasting preferably with a minimum of 2-3 years in Ecommerce
  • You ideally possessing a relevant professional qualification and/or suitable background experience in inventory management/purchasing
  • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment
  • You possess excellent personal organisation and business administration skills in accordance with modern best practice methods
  • You possess the ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • You posses the willingness to learn, improve and adapt
  • You possess relevant IT skills in basic MIS Office applications – BI visualization, excel & word in particular and a working knowledge of business ERP systems
