JOB TITLE SALES MANAGER
DEPARTMENT PAYMENTS AND CASH MANAGEMENT
REPORTING TO HEAD OF PAYMENTS AND CASH MANAGEMENT
Contribute to the achievement of marketing strategies and plans by being accountable for the transaction banking business, meeting and exceeding sales, product and channel management goals and targets in respect of revenues, volumes and e-penetration ratios to develop the corporate image and Bank's identity.
Responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of Action/Sales plans for Transaction Banking Unit. Generate and maintain a credible forecast for branches and provide this information on a regular basis to Senior Management.
Conduct preliminary work and calculations to understand customer needs and liaise with Product Managers to structure competitive solutions, etc. to support Head of Transaction Banking, to develop and formulate annual budget and objectives for Branches.
Assist in the development and implementation of new Transaction Banking products with the ability to forge close relationship with external constituents as a Senior Representative of the Bank
Develop relationship with target customer at multiple levels to increase cross-sell and wallet penetration wallet.
Compile relevant reports and summary of achievements to enable unit head, to track performance / profitability, on monthly basis.
Collect required data especially from market (competition) and update TB product specialist for them to stay abreast of the market and provide competitive products to increase market share.
Take active interest to build skills and develop competencies for self to hold higher responsibilities
Ensure to comply with the audit requirements, internal and external reporting obligations etc in line with the policy guidelines, to ensure high standards of uniformity and consistency across the Bank
Degree in Marketing or Business Management.
7-8 years of Banking experience managing sales/ branches performance at Head Office level.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the market for banking industry.
• Good understanding of banking concepts, operations, procedures, regulatory and legal aspects.
Good command of English. Arabic language would be an added advantage.
